A wonderful large antique 1930/40s era wooden box which has been lovingly reimagined into a fully functional multi ring and jewellery storage box. The exterior of the box is composed of a distinctive warm wood, this box has so much character - you can see all the grains running through it's beautiful smooth surface. I cannot express the quality of this antique box. The lid of the box has a beautiful inlaid brass cartouche; it is currently blank so it would be a really lovely touch to get it engraved and personalised for it's new owner!

This remarkable box opens up to reveal a sumptuous purple interior. Upholstered with a deep purple velvet and a contrasting pale lilac velvet with ruched purple silk to the lid. The unique design of this jewellery box is giving me real 1970s vibes! So cool. This box has been carefully designed with two compartments either side of the ring tray in which to store your other trinkets and keepsakes. The different tones of purple provides the perfect contrast.

This is the perfect box to keep your treasures safely stored all in one place! A great jewellery collector's display box. The box has a lock but the key is missing. The brass locking hinge on the interior is marked "English Make Secure Lever Patent No 6152".

This ring box can hold rings with a maximum band width of 4mms

Please note that the rings and jewellery photographed inside the box are for display purpose only and does not come with this box.

DIMENSIONS OF BOX - Height 6cms x Width 36cms x Breadth 26.5cms

CONDITION - This box is offered in very good antique condition with some light signs of wear to the vintage exterior.  There is a small nick to the wood on the lid of the box which has been photographed.  When closing the lid it needs a little adjustment in order to slot the locks together; this is a small detail but certainly worth mentioning so that I have got everything covered in the condition report. The interior of this box has been recently converted.
