"Selene" Antique Locket depicting Painted Portrait of Moon Face

"Selene" is a specially commissioned antique portrait locket. We came up with this name as Selene in Greek translates to "Moon." The idea behind this locket was to paint a Moon Face with an Art Deco inspired look to tie in with the time period that this locket was made. I love Yu-Tings use of colour and the wonderful flapper face inside the Moon.  The back of the locket features Yu-Ting's signature combined with Milly's Marvels logo; the color palette carefully considered to compliment the front of the locket. A whimsical and incredible rolled gold locket which has been lovingly given a new lease of life with this amazing painting!  

Yu-Ting loves to broaden the boundary of cultural landscapes by creating visual stories." Yu-Ting is a Taiwanese artist and filmmaker based in London. Having completed her studies at the Royal College of Art in 2020, Yu-Ting has developed a strong foundation in fine art. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in dynamic creative environments across London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. With her artistic vision and expertise, Yu-Ting brings a unique perspective to the commission project with Milly's Marvels.

This locket comes presented in a Milly's Marvel's gift box hand tied with ribbon. All other boxes are for display purpose only.
