The case has swirled etchings to the silver and an extra long 30 inch solid silver chain making it ready to hang around the neck so that it is easy and convenient to use during your sewing project. The silver case has a beautiful English silver hallmarks. This is a beautiful sewing enthusiasts vintage thimble!
